Mo Rocca

Mo Rocca and me after my appearance on CBS News Sunday Morning. For some reason I agreed to have my chest waxed on national television. The segment appeared on CBS two years in a row.

Bruce Hornsby

With Bruce Hornsby (sans The Range) behind the scenes before his concert in Washington D.C. He’s a very humble, talented, and very tall musician. A true pleasure to hang with him.

James Cotton

Chatting (and sharing a beer) with Blues Legend Mr. James Cotton at the Baltimore Blues Festival, when I was doing stage introductions for some of the best blues musicians in the world.

Art Neville

Sharing a moment with Mr. Art Neville, talking old school music in my production studio when I was promotions and marketing director and radio show host at WRNR radio station.

Deanna Bogart

Sound check time on a Rockin' River Cruise I hosted with the talented Deanna as we ventured up and down the Chesapeake Bay, taking off from Annapolis, Maryland's City Dock. She's a class act.

XM Radio Washington D.C.

XM Satellite Radio, Washington, D.C. popping in to The 80’s on 8, chillin’ in the 60’s on 6, and of course, getting my kicks on route 66 and other cities across the country in the Traffic and Weather department.

Wayne Newton

In Vegas for a film premiere with Mr. Vegas. It was a good time. And I cleaned-up at the craps and roulette tables. Love Vegas! (For 72 hours-after that, things tend to get fuzzy.)

Joe at the BBC

Joe has been a regular contributor for BBC radio on all subjects from music and politics to sport and current affairs.  Here he is pictured with Nicola Heywood Thomas at BBCs Broadcasting House, Cardiff.

Duley Noted Dog Days

On Turtle Pond

We're chillin' - literally - at Belvedere Castle. We had just chatted with some tourists from Sweden. They were none too pleased with our assumption that Ikea meatballs are really made from horse meat and shredded newspaper. Nor did they know ABBA.

A Boy and his Dog

Courtney’s 1st day home (age 3 months)

Courtney looking quite vogue in my lap as she contemplated peeing on the rug or kitchen. That adorable look, those eyes, and a puppy's bladder..."urine" trouble... for said puppy is not yet housebroken. I was nearly nine years old before I was.

Daddie & Doggie

A Day at the Beach

With a dog, every day is "a day at the beach." This day was literally a day at the beach. With the Atlantic splashing against the shore (we were freezing and giving high-fives.)

Daddy and doggie

Hans Christian Courtney

We often go to Central Park and spin yarns ala Hans Christian Andersen (but we're a bit more liberal with R rated adjectives and verbs.)

Street Dogs of a feather

We stick together. When my mother isn't wearing her glasses (and not had too much wine) she can barely tell us apart.

JD & HIS DOG

A lake, a dog, a dude, and mosquitoes

Yea, the countryside is beautiful. Yea, the lake is tranquil. But try to get a good cannoli or cappuccino there. And, it's too quiet. Didn't hear any horns or sirens. (We could barely sleep - too quiet- and mosquitoes. Lots of mosquitoes.)

Rainy Day Dogs

It may be raining outside, but there's sunshine in our hearts. And being a gentleman, I always give the umbrella to my bitch (and by "bitch" I mean female dog, so chill!)

Let Sleeping Dogs Tell The Truth

They say "let sleeping dogs lie", but truthfully we were friggin' tired. My wife snapped this photo when we were napping in the land of nod (actually, it was the living room, but you get the point.) C-Span was on in the background. Hence falling asleep.

Dogs At Dawn

Dawn: mist rising off the lake, birds chirping their morning songs, wind whipping through the trees. Who the hell can sleep with all that racket? We were discussing how much the Yankees suck and that the Mets will be better next year (yea, right).
